ACADEMIC SHOOT REFLECTION AND CRITIQUE

1. Challenges i had during this shoot was trying to get good enough shots of the kids performing and not making them all the same rule. I had to get other rules to fit into the performances that the kids were doing then trying to get pictures around the room was hard because so many objects were on the table getting in the way and changing the rule i was going to do.

2. framing was the hardest for me during the shoot, then trying to focus on the kids when the tables were in the way so i couldn't get closer to focus. I just tried to sit on a table to try and focus in and frame.

3. I would probably stand in different areas of the room to get different angles.

4. I would scout out for kids who would make the most emotions to put into the picture.

5. The rules that would be the easiest to achieve would be rule of thirds and leading lines.

6. The hardest would probably framing and simplicity.

7. I'm not totally clear on balance, i could take a bunch of pictures and pick out the ones that look like balance and see if the match up to the definition.

STEP 3: The students writing down, i like how you can see the emotion in their faces while they write. I also love the focus that's in the photos.

STEP 4: One thing that could of been improved was doing something else, because they all look the same with the subjects, like a student doing work sitting down.
