YEARBOOK INTRODUCTION

Every good yearbook needs....
1. The year of that year on the front
2. The school name on the font
3. A good theme
4. A readable font and good size
5. Focused pictures
6. Good articles
7. Pictures that relate to the topic
8. A good simple table of contents
9. An organized index
10. Staff recognition
11. Correct spelling and grammar
12. Good color scheme
13. Group photos, like of clubs and friends
14. Senior shoutouts/ ads
15. Good themes to each page
16. Don't over do it on pictures and fonts
17. Sections on different grade levels
18. Things that show next year or futures for seniors
19. Stories about student life
20. Good graphics
21. Titles of each different page or section
22. Clear page numbers on the corners
23. Descriptions of each picture from each page
24. Say who the photo was by
25. Student quotes

Questions....
1. What is the title of your book? "You Are Here Aerie 2014"
2. What school is it from? Akins High School
3. What "thematic elements" do you see in your book? This means what elements are evident from beginning to end of the book. I see a lot of friend pictures involved and pictures that really show the school environment.
4. How many sections are in your book? This could be tough to figure out, but do your best. There are 6 sections
5. What is your favorite "spread"? A spread is 2 pages about the same topic. My favorite spread is the "There's no place like home run"Its about softball and baseball.
6. Is there an Index in your book? Yes there is 
7. Are there photos of groups of people, like clubs and organizations? They have a few
8. Is there a table of contents? Yes there is
9. How many people go to the school whose book you have? Maybe like up to 1,500
10. What state is your book from? Texas
